As we approach the colder weather I'm reminded that my fan blower the hot air isn't working. All the fuses are OK and the switch is fine too (well, the light comes on when I press the button).

Is the fan assembly in the box beneath the foam thingy in the centre near the bulkhead?
Do any of you lovely gurus think it's just the blower that's stuck/not working or something more serious?
If it needs a new motor is there a parts bin I can raid rather than pestering the dealerships (I can't imagine it's anything but something out of another car)?

Many thanks in anticiaption - I hope to try to solve the issue before the GP on Sunday smile

Had this once on a 08 car, it was a bad connector under the hood neer the heater. Fiddled the wiringloom and connectors and it came on. Had to bend the pins a bit to fix it. Hope it is something simple like that. Good luck.

Thanks both - I'll play with the wiring first then and check for in line fuses too.

Julia,
A reminder? Age and model of car - not that it makes a great deal of difference for something like this. Can you get a test meter to the fan terminals?

Cheers,

Well, that was easy!

It was simply a loose bullet connector behind the battery - all now connected and working, just in time to hopefully keep my feet cool in the coming week's warm weather!
