Hi Stuart,

I see you asked a similar question at the end of October so have you angst over obtaining the correct filter? Everyone on here will try to help.

For the record my 2006 1.8 Duratec has an engine code CHBB so has always been fitted with a Ford oil filter ...... P F1751529 102096.
There are many other manufacturers who can be used, Mann, Hengst, Mahle etc.

Hope this helps

If you google a filter brand, most of them have a simple cross reference system available. Why not look at the details of the existing installed filters and find the equivalent from such a chart.
Ford does not need to have a FOMOCO filter; there are many other reputable brands available.

I would get a Ford dealer recommendation & then ask a good motor factor.

Stuart
For my 2018 Plus4 the original FoMoCo oil filter was a AA6E-6714-AA
Last December BHM did a service (the car was still under warranty) and the new filter is a FoMoCo AA6E-6714-AB

Will be interesting to see next time when the car will be out of warranty what filter they use.
I believe the following are equivalents
Bosch P7203 EAN: BOSCH 4047025654982

Fram FRAM PH9566 EAN: FRAM 2259118743440

Mahle ORIGINAL 70582038 EAN: MAHLE ORIGINAL 4009026887554

Hengst H319W

When I first had my new Morgan serviced at the dealer he, I noticed the cost of the Ford filter was 2.5 times cost of purchasing myself from Ford spares. mad

Hi Stuart

I’m sorry I cannot help with you DGi filter
Regarding the Duratec it is my understanding that 1751529 is the part no (shown on my local Ford garage invoice) and AA6E 6714 AA the oem no. Both are normally stamped on the filter housing itself (if ever doing a filter cross reference search use any/both numbers).

Cat302.
What did the dealer say when he managed to get to his feet?
