The 2nd lap Guy Martin does on his Honda at 17min 26.32sec translates to an average speed of 129.8 mph
The current lap record is held by John McGuinness with a 17min 12.30sec which is 131.578 mph average
The film and close proximity of the scenery really shows the acceleration of these bikes (0 to 100 mph in 5 seconds!)
