Robbie... I understand your hesitation going without some type of rain cover....you live in the rainiest city in Europe right? :-) Me and a friend have been talking about driving up the coast of Norway so there is a chance/risk that we could be coming your way.....
DaveK There is no problem to remove the original windscreen and mount the Brooklands somewhere "under" where the original windscreen would sit, but it would be a real hassle to change back and forth. On the newer roadsters the brackets for the windscreen has one bolt from the inside of the car which means that you have to take the whole dash away which would also be needed to get to the bolts for the Brooklands......
I enclose some pictures on the Morganpark.de kit so you can see what I am talking about. I think it is a really clever design and you only have to do three bolts on each side from the outside of the vehicle and the if you rework the frame brackets for the original windscreen it would also only be three bolts on each side.
