Hello everybody - I am looking to buy a pair of original wing mirrors if anyone has replaced theirs and wants to sell the old ones.
Thanks,
Phil

Slight thread drift, are there many different ones out there?
I quite liked the original ones Morgan had on the geneva show car..

Hi Phil. The original Morgan mirrors have no adjuster for the friction position holder. I had one of mine replaced under warranty as the mirror head was moving under wind pressure, but after a few adjustments I think it will work loose again. All decent OEM motorcycle mirrors have adjusters to re-tension the friction position holding set-up. I'd replace them with motorcycle mirror stems and heads. This is the case with my KTM, Yamaha and Harley mirrors. never needed to tighten the Triumph mirrors, but assume they would be the same. (Thanks for your videos and the Touring group talk - all very interesting. Think I could soon be a customer for the bevel box mount upgrade kit soon - 2016 model)

I have a pair of brand new ones, they look cool, although the visibility is compromised. Let me know if you want them.

Nick, like the ones on my old 3W? If so you'll need quite a bit of head movement/body to see out. Although very little distortion from the vibrations.

Thanks so much but I got the pair from Hugo - just need to address the vibration problem but that should be an easy fix.

Hmm - never experienced a problem on my car but I'll keep an eye on it when I fit these to the new project car - thanks for the tip.

Yes those look like the ones on the Geneva car!
Feel free to PM me if you like (although I know TM loves a good thread drift), be interesting to see more pics of them.

The standard ones wobble so much they are useless anyway! laugh2
