I have a set of Tri-Bar headlights which are surplus to requirements if anyone would like them. Probably not the latest version, but reflectors seem in reasonable condition.
The factory OEM units from Wipac are really poor, so I am not surprised that even this "vintage" design is an improvement (or does that come from the later spec halogen bulbs?) I'm interested, pm sent Gary

I switched mine to Tribars about a year ago, mostly because I like the look of them. I don't do a lot of night driving in the Morgan but with halogen bulbs they're good enough for me. If you're in the market be aware of some cheap versions available, especially on a well known online market place, th equality isn't up to much, and you wouldn't want to spoil your treasured chariot for a few quid.

They look great Craig. I believe you can also get a bulb in a softer shade of white nearer to the original shade?

Description on mine: Optional side light facility H4 Twin Filament Includes Superwhite H4 bulbs As an Ideal lighting upgrade if using sealed beams (direct replacement) As fitted to 50's & 60's British Classics.

Did you purchase the Tribars from bettercarlighting, or where did you get those? I also like those very much, but would choose the LED version - old look, but most modern light. Unfortunately, not yet available with pilot light for my LHD... PM sent Craig, the lights give a fantastic look to your car. I also would be interested if you could kindly send a PM to me as well, where you bought your lights and which brand it is. Like Marcel, I also thought that the LED LHD version is not available with the additional pilot light.

![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/08/DSC01815-2.md.jpg) I like the tri-bar look as well - they work fine as well even though these are a budget version from Ebay - fitted several years ago.. The beam pattern is acceptable on the MOT beam setter and light output with standard bulbs is fine as well. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/08/DSC08856-2.jpg)

As nice as Craig‘s car, andymot. It really fits the car. Those lights may be my next 4/4 investment but in some LED version because I drive a lot in the twilight in autumn.
