Does anyone watch the Restomod videos on You tube Example ? The level of work they do is astounding but the obvious question is how much does it cost and who can afford that sort of thing? The amazing thing is that some of the cars they work on, and clerarly spend a lot on, are pretty ordinary. Like a Morris Minor!

Howard, Thanks for posting. I hadn't come across this before. What a clever bunch of chaps they are but I do wonder how much the final cost will be and will it ever eventually be worth it in the open market.?
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

I love the obsessive attention to detail. I love the Mk 2 Jaguar. Even if this ends up costing £250k, I'd rather that than some modern hybrid so called sports car for £250k. But then I passed my driving test in a Mk 2.

Fantastic work, hard to believe the engine is a new Toyota engine, the rocker covers etc. make it look a lot more period.

Thanks for sharing this Howard , I really enjoyed it .
As others have mentioned the attention to detail is amazing as is the amount of thought that goes into everything eg the folding armrest . Also the clever thinking ahead such as having threaded inserts ready for securing the wiring .
I'm going to watch another episode now !
