As soon as the roads are clear and it is a little bit warmer I will continue with the test-driving and re-mapping process.....Hopefully we can find a tune with more horsepower and no rev hang.....:-)

I don't believe Cain is working on the electronics. MMC piggy backed a "second unit" to the Ford ECU. They are both locked which is why this is so difficult. If you make it work I think quite a few folks on here would like one too.

The problem is not only that the original ECU in the car is locked it is also that Morgan has left out/blocked the VIN Number so the car has no identity and without identity you cannot make any changes.

First problem solved the car is running on a "new" ECU which is open and has a VIN No and we have already tried some new tunes including the original Mustang tune, but that did not work and fault codes were plenty...:-)

The number of possible changes to all the parameters in the ECU is quite vast so we definitely have some more work to be done before we can nail a good tune....

But it might turn out that I still would need to go for the lighter flywheel as well to get it perfect. Maybe I should drop Caine a line and ask him about the flywheel and if he have done any remapping?
