Same with key start John. Once the sequence has been initiated with momentary twist of key you can let go and starter controlled by PCM which locks it out after engine runs.

Its all tied in with engine stop/start technology John. Not sure in what applications of the Cyclone engine its used but clearly available on all those engines.

Well it will stop little fingers having another go on the button & damaging the car. The Mustangs certainly have a start button. I don't remember a stop start based on the clutch / brake such as fitted to my VW to cut the engine on stand still on the one we hired.

To Sutton Hoo for a walk and coffee with Hawki & Ted. A great sense of freedom in the spring sunshine. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/03/14/20210314_111527.jpg)

A great result of a lot of work, diligence and heart and soul. Congratulations. The first ride was certainly a great experience, Tim. Will you keep the original colour? It looks good on her.

Thank you, Heinz (and Happy birthday if I read other threads correctly :)) Currently there is just 2k primer on the car. I had the wings and hood chemically paint stripped - the rest was a lot of elbow-grease.
The car originally had one of the many BRG variants - in 1984 the factory used cellulose paint - Deep Brunswick Green (P030-0427). After a lot back and forth on this topic the new paint will be BMW Aquabase Plus GN18 (Connaught Green - variant 1)

From a dull memory P030 is an ICI Belco product code for their Cellulose paint system...? I think 0427 would be the colour/shade I.D...?

What I have found in the web I like connaught green variant 1 a lot. Deep Brunswick green looks too much „green“ if you know what I mean. It is in my view a two fold task. First, which BRG do I like, Second does it fit a Morgan? For example I like Jag C Type dark green but will it fit a Morgan? CG Variant 1 seems to be a good match to your Morgan.
