Huge relief Colin.
Same result I had when I bought my car 4 years ago.
Do remember to readjust the spring seats after a thousand miles or so.
The gap above the rebound spring will probably open up a bit and start to affect the handling.

Colin, great the SSL upgrade is has the result you were looking for! I did same upgrade at front, plus 5he BRBs. At the rear I fitted a 2nd anti tramp bar (Roadster) and fitted Avo dampers, which were an improvement. Fitting Avo dampers at the back might be something you could consider as a more manageable alternative to a change towards 5 link.

Another thought: ask SSL for their recommended shocks for a cart sprung Mog.

If you have the basic factory fit rear shocks they suck. Replacing them makes a huge difference.

Good result Colin and interesting find on the laser toe-in check. My Roadster was found to be almost identical to your car with significant toe-out from new having only covered 9,500 miles then. It seems the SSL RS upgrade which I fitted at that time, highlights the skittish effects of this poor setup. Makes me wonder what checks MMC make on new cars

Colin: Great news!!
It terms of returned comfort on money spent the SSL 5 link isn't as stunning as the work you have had done on the front, but still significant.
Time to start saving? That's interesting. The seating position is almost over the rear axle so I would have expected the rear suspension to have the most effect on ride comfort.

I don’t think the 5 link provides any increase in suspension travel, so I suppose it just makes it feel nicer until in crashes into the chassis
