On my quick search this morning I got following results. (Conti still rather poor on the wet, Vredestein Classics available, but expensive) ![[Linked Image]](https://up.picr.de/40782283kp.png)

The Conti information is out of date unless they're selling very old tyres.

When I bought my Vredestein T Trac2's form Demon Tweaks last year they had only just come into stock and were a great price at £43.00 each delivered including Drat. They sold out fairly quickly and it would appear that the TTrac2's are made in infrequently in batches as although seemingly very popular for a 165/80 R15, it isnt a mainstream tyre size for modern vehicles.
I agree with Heinz that Vredestein will be making a lot more profit on the Sprint Classic tyre in the same size as it is three times more expensive than the T Trac2, however the TTrac2 was a popular tyre and I cant see the sense in it being discontinued as Vredestein will have lost a market section. Most TTrac2 users or buyers including myself will buy another make of tyre as the Sprint Classics are two to three times the price of the average 165/80 R15
I'm hoping that the T Trac 2 therefore will be available in batches as before rather than totally discontinued.

RobCol, please read my post from yesterday after my telephone call with Vredstein UK. They confirmed the T-Trac2 in this size was still on the 2021 UK price list, so assumed it was not discontinued. However, they could not say when it would be manufactured again and available in the UK. I can provide the telephone number for Vredstein if you would like to call them yourself?

Very pleased I went for a wider wheel - much better selection of tyres and at a reasonable price too (running AVON ZV7 195/65 front and 205/65 rear)

TBM that is a good fit for your car and I have seen pics of her, it looks very harmonic and „right“. But the more recent cars have a wider track and no 195 or 205 will suit under the wing of a 4/4 of the last two or three decades.

Just looked at prices of 175/70 or 185/70 - ridiculous prices, any decent tyre is over £250 a corner!

The Plus Four came with Avon ZV7 fitted and looking at the reviews they appear to be pretty highly rated and good in the wet. Do they come in the size you’re looking at coz they seem quite reasonably priced too? (sorry if already suggested elsewhere but only just checked mine as I was curious with all the rain rating talk) HB

I'm very happy with my ZV7 - I've put them on my Corsa too - vast improvement to the budget ones I had on before which were useless in the damp. I'm a 'spirited' driver rather than a fast driver - I often find cars zoom away from me on the straights, but I usually catch them up on corners and roundabouts (anything that involves using your steering wheel and having an idea on how to control your car )

ZV7 will be going on the Saab when it comes time for new boots. Had ZT7 on the previous MINI and they were pretty good (ZV7 not available in MINI size nor 4/4 size).
