Interesting discussion. When I bought my 4/4, I changed the Conti's immediately to Vredestein Sprint 185/70/15. Great tyre and much more grip dry as well as wet. After one year I moved the rear wings 1 cm further out, because the 185 tyres damaged the edge of the wings. No problem on the latest series, because the holes used to mount the wings, are big enough.

Based on the test, I would try the Hankook if I had to have new tyres. The Dunlop Sport Classic costs three and a half times as much...In other tests the Hankook was worse in the wet, but that is three years old, perhaps they updated the tyre somewhat. Of course, the Mercedes 123 on which the tyres were tested is twice as heavy as a Morgan, but the Hankook won't be a bad choice.

But I also don't know if AutoBild Klassik magazine is the most competent authority :-)
Other magazines have rated the tire (but compared to other "modern" tires) less well.

At least one can say that the Hankook is not totally undriveable.

Heinz, what year were your CT22 that showed no wear, pre or post 2018?
On the basis, we can't go back in time only really relevant if post 2018 variant surely?
I have 25+ years of lightweight 911 experience, I am very particular about tyres on these cars, I'm not sure 356/912 handling characteristics translate to Morgans?
From what I have seen, most 165 80-15 on concours Pork seem to be Pirelli CN36?
I came to the conclusion the Hankooks may be a viable option a couple of days ago? Just hoping to hear if someone in the Uk has experience of this variant, as there seem to be a few different Hankooks in this size on a Morgan?
