The Covid virus drastically limits our ability to travel and we are sitting at home. Maybe a travel quiz is a good idea:

Rules: A picture of a destination is posted, and whoever guesses the correct location and solves the riddle has to post a picture of a new destination. (or he asks someone else to post a picture)

If a few days the destination is not guessed, the originator should either give a hint or solve the puzzle.

May I start:

Neilda .... it is indeed Nemrut Dag ..... 40 years ago it was an isolated place with a dirt road over bridges still in use from Roman times .... you can flip in by helicopter or coach now!! 🙂 very atmospheric place.

I've never been, but would love to go.

I spent many weeks in Egypt a few years ago... and a month in Greece too.... I was lucky to see pretty much everything you could hope to see and get into tombs that were closed to tourists. I am fascinated by ancient cultures - they are tantalisingly imaginable and yet so distant.

Lucky you! The pre-Roman history of that place is extraordinary.
