Hello Steve

Welcome to TM. Yes we are a friendly bunch. I take it you have checked out your local Morgan group? Any answers to you question can be found here.
I noticed you have a 2000 Indian Chief. Is this by the same company as now?

Wellcome from northern Germany.
Your car is a little bit rare I think.

But I am sure that you will find a lot of knowledge here!

welcome to the club! I joined in 2019 and brought my plus 4 home to Kentucky. Just up the road from you in Lexington! Check out the British carshow in Rugby, TN. Third weekend in August. It's a lot of fun.

Hey Dave-

The Company who produced my Indian was based in Gilroy California. They sold to a Kings Mountain NC based group who is now owned by Polaris. I suspect Polaris will own Indian indefinitely. The bike today is more advanced and technical than mine. However, mine has more of the old lines that look like the older Indians, some say.

Welcome to the Forum also from Cologne in Germany, Steve. Like John V6 we were visiting the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green and the Mammoth Caves as well. Bowling green is a very nice place to be and we liked it so much, it was in 2017 not so far after the floor of the Corvette Museum broke in and they made it a smart part of the exhibition.
And yes, pictured of your new to you elder lady would be very welcome.

On a related note, which Morgan Clubs should I join? I was knowledgeable of the Triumph clubs when I was active with those cars, but I am a novice with Morgans. I would enjoy any club with a newsletter, national or regional meetings and an offering of collegiality. Because I am located in the US, that probably limits my options, but I am not opposed to joining a club to source its good materials if it is a good distance away.

Thoughts?
