I had an email from Karen who manages the car clubs at the DHF. For those of you going, or thinking of going, the MSCC infield parking area is our usual spot by the Roberts Chicane. See you there - hopefully  we shall have good weather. There will be no tickets sold on the gate - pre-booking only. Club members will need to book as such (with discounted tickets) and will get an infield parking permit. For newcomers - MSCC parking is on the infield by the start/finish straight.

Received an email from DHF this afternoon - sadly the meeting is now going to be a "behind closed doors event".
Feeling sorry for all those who put so much work into putting the event on.

Yes it is sad, but I'm still surprised they sold spectator tickets & actively promoted it
It clearly states in the Step 3 guidance...
NO EARLIER than May 17th, outdoor sports venues max 4000 people or half capacity (whichever is lower)
I just couldn't see how on the 1st & 2nd of May it could happen
