A "gang of six" Hopmoggers met up at Scotney Castle in Kent yesterday for our first get together since the easing of Covid restrictions. The car park looks empty, but they directed us in there while everyone else was being sent to another area! Social distancing?

Not today, but i did last night to test out the new headlights

Currently, the weather in the east of Austria is dreamlike! Sunshine and 22-24°C.

Yesterday our Morgan had to go to the MOT (there were no problems). The Morgan dealer is halfway to the Neusiedlersee (a 320 km² steppe lake, about 40 km south-east of Vienna). So we continued our way there. On the way we made the 30.000th km with our Morgan:



Because the Neusiedlersee is so big, it is often called the "Sea of the Viennese".



Today we took a trip in the opposite direction: northwest to the Weinviertel.

Since all restaurants are currently closed because of Covid, you have to bring your own food.

From tomorrow in our region is again curfew because of Covid ...

Nice little run to Rugby yesterday to see the inlaws, and a quick visit to see SimonH (good to meet you). She behaved much better, with very few stutters this time.

Nearly didn't make it as she suffered complete electrical failure on the drive. After much investigating turned out to be the battery cut out switch which only failed under load. Quick bypass and all was fine!

Made a day of the wonderful weather with a scenic drive down to Tenterden with Ian Webster.

Parked up in the Main Street behind another HopMogger...........Great to be out again!

As you can see, we enjoy our Morgan very much and intensively. 2 weeks ago it had its 3rd "birthday" (date of registration) and we have already driven 30,000 km

When will your Roadster be allowed back on the road?

The Great Escape Gang delayed there inaugural 2021 run to today 1/4. We did this as on the hottest day YTD on Wednesday Hawki was working (whatever that is) his last day. This enabled us to miss the warm weather & drive out in a nice cold day.
Hawki did buy buy the coffee and cake at the Two Magpies in Dersham though to make it up to us.



Then onto our tropical beach resort AKA Southwold for fish & chips in the open.





The local birds liked Belle and left a few calling cards that have now been removed. A great fun day out.
