Been with Headley for seventeen years with the Morgan they are always competitive and a lovely company to deal with so they have our other two cars, house and contents as well now.
When the 4/4 Sport got written off the cheque was with us in the fortnight and they made the process totally painless.

+1 Gott & Wynne

Similar experience to KEVFITZ.

Windscreen claim settled in 3 days. The payment was refunded before it hit my credit card.

Phil Stoner is a great guy to deal with.

Also of note, they got the open top car hood up clause written out of the contract formally. Just check other policies.

I 've had my +8 insurance with Admiral on a multi car policy for the last 4 or 5 years - only 2000 miles a year and no extras other than agreed valuation, this year it was £125. Only ever claimed for a windscreen but no problems with that.

+1 for Phil Stoner and Gott and Wynne. Been with them since 2001, only ever had 2 windscreen claims and both paid before credit card statement arrived.

Totally delighted with them.

The business model is based on what Joe Public wants for his Fiesta - low prices. So the front end is standardised to cheap "call centre jockeys" handling standard vanilla cars. The risk is examined in detail when you have a claim - thats when the professionals appear. In the old days you spoke to underwriters at insurance companies not min wage types at intermediaries like brokers.

Premium strikes me as a expensive. The main risk is the small chance of a very large 3rd party claim and that doesnt really depend too much on the car but as far as the car bit is concerned I pay just a little bit more than that for the Fezza with at least twice the bhp, way more expensive parts and likely higher write off value.
