As we all know, driving a morgan out and about requires a bit of digital fettling with fingers getting trapped under tonneau covers, hood assembly’s, side screens and a whole manner of avoiding sharp metal bits, trap points and press studdedness
If you have office hands like mine then there is the odd occasion where a finger draws blood while messing about and usually involves much swearing
Anyway I was out in the Morgan taking it to the tennis club this week and cut my finger fettling the hood assembly on the back of a press stood while stuffing the hood and my hand blindly into what I thought was a pocket
Tip is to always keep a packet of plasters in the glove box or somewhere very accessible while driving
I do have a first aid kit buried in what is a boot under the hood but I only noticed the drip of blood while back driving and managed to create blood stains all over my tennis whites and magnolia leather cockpit as I tried to drive with my finger swapping between my mouth and gear shift
I had to stop in the end and make a bandage out of a face mask from the glove box as I don’t think I could have got to the first aid kit without further blood staining
Hope you plaice the first aid box somewhere more convenient in future, maybe then you won't be so eel. Yes I’ve doubled up and now put a box sticking plasters in the glove box, along with the face masks, a small bottle of Morgan’s alcohol hand gel and a pack of screen wipes

Re your other thread, are you sure there aren't other bladed weapons hidden within your Mog Stewart?

I do not recommend or endorse this but having been a mechanic/trainer/bodger all my working life I have always used Superglue. Seriously! Air fix model glue before that. Stops bleeds in seconds and I was using it before the hospital in Brum started using plastic skin spray.
I went in once (more than once) for stitches and the doctor just laughed and said ‘well I suppose it keeps the bugs out’ covered in oil plasters just don’t stick.

Colin (mind you I was daft back then 😂) Super glue is sterile and was first used in Vietnam to seal wounds and stop infection which are specially nasty in that environment. I believe it was invented by the medical bods for that very purpose.

The medical version is slightly different but I have used ordinary superglue for cuts. It works really well over micropore tape too. I cut slivers of micropore to act like butterfly stitches then superglue over the top. Has worked well for me.
