Learnt my lesson with the 'fly off' hand brake limitations when I jumped out of the car once with the engine running on a hill so in neutral to post a letter.

Luckily went round the back of the car to the post box so noticed it was on its way back down the hill and managed to jump in.

The latest version have a normal handbrake but not risking it.

Also had a couple of scares when I have gone round a bend and the passenger door has come open - not shut properly.

Which ever way you do it, please don't do it in an old Jag. The handbrake is purely decorative and not intended for use.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Or an Aero.....

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Or a 4/4 Sport, the cable gave way (£300 under warranty) on mine and the car rolled gently backwards into my very good neighbours Merc, he was great I just polished it out thankfully. I carried a foot of 2"x 2"in the car since then.
The Sport suffered a fractured stupid plastic number plate holder so very lucky.

Over the years I have broken two cables on MOT rollers. Now hate MOTs as much as the dentist.

.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.
