I'll be the party pooper! Lots of people seemingly planning on drinking and driving.  Talk of food? Are the pubs open internally for meals in England? Or are you all planning on eating outside?

before Staverton airfield was an airpoprt it was a shed which housed an aircraft in a farmer's field . My mum was friends with the farmer's daughter. She could not believe her eyes when we took her there many many years ago. Breakfast at The Aviator (based at Staverton airfield) tomorrow morning (with tea/coffee though as driving - suppose I should dig the pushbike out  ).

Yes, and the original was on the other side of the main Cheltenham/Gloucester road. This morning's visit might not happen now. Just opened the curtains to find it is snowing. Mind you last week's visit (BYO breakfast) was conducted in a hailstorm!

I dont drink these days ( or very rarely ) so the thought of standing in a damp pub car park isnt very appealing  If it was 'back to normal' I would consider it. Enjoy the damp and cold pint in a windy pub garden though if you're going out  'Four pints and a bag of pork scratching please barman. We are in the carpark near the bins. I am frequenting the Home Inn here in Westest Wales.
A lovely homely atmosphere with real ales from a local brewery and red wine.
Indoor imbibing is allowed here and it is still a bit cool outside.

The Mogoos will be off to the Stag and Huntsman at Hambleden for a delicious pint of Rebellion ale...  Happy days... Sorry about I can‘t have a pint in a british Pub... the stag and the huntsmen is also a nice place for B&B. We stay there in summer 2019.
