Hi out there,
found a dozen of posts according the bevel box and it's problems. The BB in my 2012 M3W is also very noisy and I'm tired to find out what can be done.
So my idea is to replace the box by an original bb from a BMW motorbike (for example from K1200RS/GT)
These boxes are often offered for a good price at ebay.
My idea is to make two adapters to fix this box to the original mounting points of the chassis (no NVH Kit here) Furthermore it would need an adapter for the original prop shaft. The belt drive to the rear wheel should be replaced by a chain with sprockets, what enables me to adapt the gear ratio.
Has anyone tried that or heard about those changes ?
Thorsten
