I am wanting to upgrade my air filter to a K&N pannel type. can some one tell me where the filter is located and how to get to it please !

In the O/S wing, accessed by removing a panel on the underside of the car, behind the front wheel arch. Air is drawn in through the louvres on the wing.
I'm told you need the car up on jacks to do the job as the filter element is taller than the ground clearance....

Deano, This photo shows on Tarka the hose from the engine bay into the wing and than the air filter housing. There is no inlet from the engine bay or the under the wing. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2018/12/30/Black-Underseal-Everywhere.jpg) Tarka is a July 2013 build, not really a surprise cars differ....

They installed a removable plate in the bottom at some point, so in theory the air filter could be removed without all that effort... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/04/17/Air-filter.jpg) I took this photo in the factory in 2017 of a Plus 8 in build, and it shows the air box, but I'm not certain how the clips could be undone to allow the filter to be replaced... So it is still a bit of a mystery.
