Well what a three days with Claire and Phil Bleazey. Centa upgrade done and makes the car so much more drivable. Good learning experience from a patient and talented Engineer. Warm welcome too. I’m afraid I’ve set a new precedent and cooked on second night! Claire likes a nice glass of red too! Now I can repair centa in half an hour if needed at side of road. Better than ten hours at dealer or Malvern

I am also pleased with the upgrade , but no meals for me , just fingers crossed that the postal service would manage
to send a kit to sunny Australia and return the unit taken out which it did .
Both Phil and Claire were very helpful and made the process stress free .
Thanks
Alan

I recommend Phils the bevel box mounting upgrade as well, if applicable to your car.
At least as transformative as the Centa upgrade.

My thanks also to Phil and Claire as had mine done back in June. Really good time, and highly recommended. Apart from the Centa mod we/Phil also:
- replaced the clutch plate with a heavy duty version
- wired the exhaust header nuts
- plastic sleeved the hole in the steering rack
- relocated the regulator to the front body and wired a new earth and connection to the battery -ve connector
- replaced the Bevel Box oil seal
- centered the rear wheel sprocket against the belt and replaced the securing pin for the wheel bolt

Was planning to avoid the motorways on the journey to and from Lancaster but found far too many traffic blockers on the way back S, such as convoys of tractors, HGVs, plus suffered some dodgy Garmin sat nav routing in town centres... so ended up on the M6 for a "quick blast back". With the G56 pipes it's too easy to keep up with the "fast lane boys" and I think 1 or 2 BMWs were a bit surprised to see me staying "on their 6". wink
