I think you have landed on why Jaguars future XJ was really cancelled. They were trying to do that with Leccy when it all went wrong.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Back in 1996 I had a BMW 530 V8. It had a 80 litres petrol tank. One day I was at the petrol station. Next to me was a guy with a Toyota Starlet. When my pump reached the 40 litres mark I said to the Guy: Your tank would be overflowing now. He was gobsmacked when the pump reached 70+ litres.  In 1974 a friend of my father had a V8 Ford Mustang. One day when he visited us, my father asked him if the Mustang was economical to run. This is what he told my father: I once stopped at a petrol station and I asked the petrol station attendant to fill the car up. After 15 minutes the attendant asked me to stop the engine because he wasn't able to fill the petrol tank.

Nice touch having Prince Philip taken to the church on the back of a Land Rover. I wonder if they’ll have Prince Andrew buried in a 15 year old Escort?
