No noise on the Plus 6 -- oddly the Aero has always squealed like a stuck pig after I wash it but after a few pedal presses brakes are quiet again.

How the alignment issue will be addressed I am not sure but new calipers or caliper mounts or shimming somewhere seems most likely. I'll update when I know more.

CX brakes are not a strong point as many have pointed out - even on the less swift Plus Four. They are certainly easy to modulate and give good decelleration eventually - if you push hard enough and far enough - but mine has very long pedal travel, poor intial bite and is a bit spongy. Again the dealer has promised to look at it but I fear someone will tell me it is a CX charecteristic.

Many thanks. I will speak to my dealer and ask them to speak with MMC about the alignment fix.

The solution apparently involves a re attachment of the caliper with different bolts and some washers - the factory supplies a “kit” - I await mine!!
