Hi All,

I've set up a Just Giving page to help raise funds for Cancer research after the loss of Austin Smith last week.

I think he was known as Warbird on here and was very active in racing his 5 speeder and generally very enthusiastic all round!

His family asked for donations at the funeral, but with restrictions as they are, I thought this was a good way to try and raise some decent money for the charity

Message to all TMers, don't wait until it is too late to get checked for bowel cancer . The "poo sticks" are only an indicator, so don't get complacent. Anything unusual needs to be checked. Mine was caught in time, hence my being able to write this.

Just donated and echo Andy G's advice. Don't put off doing the test, it's very easy to do.

NHS kindly sent a poo kit for my 60th birthday. I'd had no symptoms but I did have cancer. A year after surgery and chemotherapy I've just been given the all-clear and have bought a Plus 4 to celebrate.

Good for you Garry, I had mine last year and a camera up where the sun don't shine for good measure, thankfully all clear.
