Does anyone know how to balance the speaker output on the Plus Four speaker system?? On mine it seems that there is only output from the rear two speakers and nothing from the front ones in the doors. Is it a sealed effort or is there some way of balancing the speakers?

Do you hear anything from the front speakers? E.g. a crack when switching on or off? Could it be that they are not connected?

Car radio's accommodate four speakers with fader between front and rear ones. Given the plain audio system on CX models with jack or Bluetooth hookup, I would have thought there should be a configurable fader incorporated in same otherwise what is the point of fitting four speakers

Can't dealer or MMC help?

Worst case MMC have fitted two speaker module and therefore not connected one pair of speakers

Dealer has enquired and got the usual response ---None

Maybe it is a feature. I would email the MMC MD.

Mine only appears to work at the rear. In all honesty until you just mentioned it I had no idea there were speakers in the front. Are they in the doors? I shall need to investigate further!!!!

Font speakers are in the front top par of the door behind the micro-perfored leather.
I have dismounted the first part of the audio system behind the dashboard to fit a DAB system connected with a line jack, unfortunately on this part only 2 cinch are available at the input or output of the volume box system the split 2 to four cinch must be directly at the entry of the audio amplifier .... But this one I don't know where they have hide it .... (Probably behind the central console somewhere)

Surely all features should be tested at final assembly & then again at Dealers PDI, not impressed for what these CX vehicles cost

Neither am I,Jon. Surely it can’t be too difficult to give proper instructions for use and adjustment! Also we need advice as to how to get radio as well as Bluetooth music - it’s a €100k purchase here in ireland after all!!
