Yes, I'm holding out for Hydrogen this battery thing is a blind alley (nothing has changed my mind in the last 5 years on this one) and will be looked back on as a far more damaging period than the ICE was..
At best it's a short lived interim stage.

They need to start taking a long hard look at wood burning stoves and those ludicrous fire pits, they are churning out far more particles than the ICE at present. doh I won't even mention those crazy propane heaters warming up outside pub drinkers/diners....

Why not buy a fuel cell vehicle then or are you talking about hydrogen powered ice, have a look at Toyota I think they have just announced a corolla
"Toyota Corolla With Hydrogen-Fueled Combustion Engine Sounds Good" https://www-motor1-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.motor1.com/news/504287/toyota-corolla-hydrogen-combustion-engine/amp/?amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a6&usqp=mq331AQHKAFQArABIA%3D%3D#amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=16203386543974&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.motor1.com%2Fnews%2F504287%2Ftoyota-corolla-hydrogen-combustion-engine%2F
They are looking at domestic fires,

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/restrictions-on-sale-of-coal-and-wet-wood-for-home-burning-begin.

Those that light up a bonfire will be next, I have long wondered about firework displays and the biproducts of such use.

No doubt if you pee your neighborhood with a smokey fire no doubt they'll have avenues to report that.

Methane, although shorter lived in the atmosphere about 20 years (compared with CO2 which hangs around about 100 years) is far more damaging in climate change terms.....less meat in our protein diet is part of the answer.

Yes I read that story last week on the BBC about the wood burners based on that government document.

I'll have a look at that Toyota, it's the fuel cell powered vehicle I'm waiting on.

This one is a great step forward.

I wouldn't find giving up meat a great hardship if it really did help reduce methane significantly, I won't be giving up the Plus 8 though laugh2

I find I produce a lot more methane on sprouts than I do on meat!

Clearly we need to cut down on veggies!

Eurosystem it's an experience not to be missed but do be wary of the follow through, the bucket comes in handy then.

The reason I know is that a local farmer friend of mine asked if I fancied covering his duties whilst him and the good lady took a weekend off, the milking parlour is definitely not for those lacking commitment. I enjoyed the challenge but couldn't have done it without his dog smile.

Standing in the pit in a milking parlour before the cock crows is truly an eye opener, and an assault on every sense.
