A 1 metre length breaker bar like this one Is good. I bought mine from Screwfix

When fitting the wheels on the car, I just nip the spinners up until I feel slight resistance, only using just the first lower 2ft of the bar. I need the extra full length of the bar when it comes to undoing them though, due to self tightening.

A bit of Copaslip on the threads and around the groove in the back face of the nut that bites into the wheel centre helps

DIY tips of the day....... If you've a 20mm gap between your window and cill save silicone by taking a handful of stones off the drive and pushing them into the gap........

Loose pieces of conti board, Formica and broken bits of moulding make great Packers to support a window cill!!!!!!

I've seen some botch jobs in my time but this is the worst I've seen for a while! worrying thing is the houses former owner who had the work done was an
old lady, I dread to think how much she paid for this.

my pal has the ability to destroy most things. His latest triumph involved de-clogging his garden shredder using an iron bar with predictable bangs and explosions.

The shredder wheel now has a half inch gouge in every tooth and the cast aluminium slipper simply exploded into a thousand pieces.

I am proud to report that I managed to re-purpose an MGB leaf spring, round bar and square tubing and fashioned a new, much stronger, slipper and the shredder is now working again.

I wont mention the yards of Gaffa tape involved in repairing the casing as that was his handiwork!

Replaced the dual grill element in the NEFF built in double oven unit, quite painless really and as it is 16 years old now thought it might be a problem getting spares.

This outfit are brilliant and fast an OE part for £71 and here the next day. They had a cheap option but why bother, do it once..

No connection other than a happy customer with brownie points in hand.

Yes indeed. It also makes me wonder about stopping distances in Morgans. A moments inattention a few years ago and I nearly went into the back of someone whilst driving my Roadster. I slammed on the brakes and travelled along the road on full lockup for a very long distance... I fortunately stopped in time, but I was genuinely surprised at the distance travelled!
