Along with fixing a number of other issues I had the Morgan fix for the squealling brakes done by my dealer on Friday. It seemed to have involved removing and turning round the calipers and fitment of a new bracket so that the pads are presented to the disc at a slightly different angle. It works fine going forwards. In reverse its now exactly like it used to be going forwards.... Hmm. Work in progress still I feel. At least the dealers explanation about turning the calipers round makes sense though! On a more positive note, nearly all the other items on a fairly long list were sorted. Inclduing a pre-emptive mod for the radiator problem. I also had the free courtesy check done at the same time despite thinking it was just a bit of PR spin. However, I was most impressed. Dealer spends three hours and has to remove wheels, floor pans etc and check security of various engine, suspension and underbody fastenings including torque settings for front wishbones. It certainly looks like Morgan are keen to monitor issues on the new CX and try to keep on top of things. Apart from the brakes and the fuel gauge and one other item I am sorted. Somewhat reassured - although it might just be my rose-tinted Morgan glasses.

Agreed but wouldn't it be better and seemless for the combined efforts of MMC and the supplying dealers PDI's to cover all these checks and mods before the new owner has to suffer ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/gBEtBcZ.gif)

That's a good sign and very good to hear for the future. Given the platform is going to be used other ways they do have to get this one right compared to the Aero.
I wish I could get a naughty little AMG V8 in a CX chassis. With some of the first generation tweaks completed. There are going to be some given the budget and resources lets be fair. The fun thing is that the balance could be worse and you would do it again because it is special. The Aero did not have the volume or profit to benefit from the forward investment the CX will so I see a bright future.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Same as you the noise is coming when going reverse. It's a safety feature instead of a reverse beeper

If they are checking things like torque on wishbones its because they have had a few cases of undertorqued wishbones. Shows a lack of confidence in the product.

Very impressed with the quality feel of the Plus 6 over the previous model Plus 4 and no problem issues or squeaks or rattles.
Until a nasty rattle down by the driver door area or floor developed. Carried out an inspection and a floor plate nut was loose causing the plate to vibrate.
On closer inspection under the car, there are quite a few nuts so checked all I could reach and a few we’re starting to come loose so tightening all visible nuts will be a job every few months.
I decided not to take up the post delivery dealer check due to distance but presume these nut checks would have been carried out so worth it.
