Morgan Malta Group badge

A year or so after I got my 1986 Morgan 4/4 1600CVH from UK, I tried to get the few Morgan owners, living in Malta, together to form a 'group'. Next I set about designing a special badge and with collaboration with Mr. Hermen F.A. Pol, managed to produce a limited edition of my badge.
Most of these were sold to collectors and Morgan owners.
Images show the initial design and finished product. I also prepared 'Certificates of Authenticity' which were numbered and signed with each badge that was bought.

Well, maybe I have more than one connection, then Keith! grin2
I will try to scan the photo I found in Sue's album, but it's a bit faded...

I have failed so far to find the birth certificate, but have found an old B&W photo from 1960 .
This shows a memorial to the "Family Camilleri of Floriana" We did have a look for the memorial in the graveyard of the cathedral? The photo was taken by one of Sue's relatives who is no longer with us. On the back is written Father, Mother, Dora, then a few words I can't decipher. Pretty sure I remember the first two would refer to Sue's maternal (great?) grandparents. Can't see a date on the memorial in the photo.
The teapot has the following inscription: "From the Sisters Mess St. Elmo Milty Hosp Malta June 1917"
We did visit the National War Museum - St. Elmo, but no one knew about the hospital. We also spent more than one day meandering Valletta (probably in some areas we should have been aware of surroundings smile ). We did wonder if the hospital may have been adjacent to St. Elmo bay.
Cheers,
Graham

I am Hon. Secretary at the Malta Aviation Museum Foundation at Ta Qali, ex RAF airfield, and will try to see if we have any records there. No promises but worth a try. Camilleri is quite a common surname and actually I do have some friends with that surname!

Will be in touch,
regards

Thanks Reno, I appreciate that! thumbs
I wasn't aware of the Aviation Museum. Perhaps one day if I get back to Malta I will have a chance to view.
I guessed the surname was quite common smile

Visited the aviation museum a couple of time's. It has as a certain ww2 feel about it. Worth a visit if you're on the island.

I only have my personal one left, sorry. As I said in a previous reply, if I get a good number of Morgan owners interested I will consider commissioning a second run.
Thanks for your interest.
Reno
