A 14 mile journey to petrol station and back unfortunately took me 42 miles to achieve. No idea how that happened! First time with sidescreens off.

I agree thank you-still takes my breath away when in sunlight 🥰.
Incidentally may I ask what make is your gps/speedo? Is it a plug in? And do you fit it to your dashboard with velcro? Have looked and most seem to be rather large and I’m only wanting something that’s an inch or two wide at most…
Cheers for your thoughts

Beautiful 50kms up the coast to our mobile on Brittas beach, roof down in lovely sunshine - what a fantastic machine despite the few niggles!!! I love it!

Lovely hour and half pootling along, through lots of local villages/hamlets with Lady HB by my side.
37 miles. That was it…Average mpg of 48 gives an idea of how easy I was taking it. Absolute heaven! We ended up coming back via local garden centre where we bought a walnut tree to comply with a longstanding TPO which the council refuse to remove. Fortunately we were driving in an open top car meaning the new purchase could stick out the top….

That is a stunning colour HB and it's not every car you can transport your tree home in for sure. I have done a few Christmas tree runs in mine over the years.

Hi HB

Have a look at this https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/demon-tweeks-gps-digital-wireless-speedometer-dtmwds-02/ it could just be what you are after!

I have had one on my Roadster for the last year or so and it seems to work OK. I can see it in sunlight and the big plus point to me is there are no wires as such. A built in battery that only needs to be charged every 22 hours supplies the power.

It comes with various means of fixing but I just stuck a couple of magnets on the back so I can lift it on and off at will. You could also use velcro, sticky pads etc.

Interesting choice we both have in colours, I think mine is exactly the same as yours - Bentley something or other Burgundy.
