60 mile trip out in the Roadster to see some Mog friends we've not been able to visit for a very long time, after a little cruise (cough) on the A1M side by side with an Alfa 4C Competizione we had to peel off for our junction but we got a toot & a thumbs up

A 140 mile trip starting with a visit to my mil who hasn't been keeping too well recently. A short blast round the AWPR and a leisurely drive out Deeside as far as Elizabeth's "but n Ben". Unfortunately she wasn't in so we headed over to Donside and home via Strathdon and Huntly. Even on this short section we managed to get "Lost" 😃 maybe the sign isn't clear in the picture but that is what it says.

Met three Caterham's all of whom flashed and/or waved and several Porsches and a Ferrari who didn't. Also was followed by a lovely looking, black Triumph TR2? For some of the journey out of Aberdeen.

No more Pics taken as it was raining when got to Banbury, car was a real mess by the time we got back to Hotel as we went through a storm and kept getting covered by cars coming the other way.

Made for a memorable day though.

45 minutes to travel 1 mile though Llangollen - what on earth was I thinking!

At least the cooling system has had a workout!

I took the Mog out for a bimble around the back lanes of Gloucestershire yesterday afternoon. I saw only one other classic, a Triumph Roadster. They were coming the other way on a stretch of single track and so I stopped to let them pass. He said "You're the first interesting car I've seen today!"

"Likewise!" I replied. A short chat about the cars, and then we headed in our separate directions.

Took a 75 mile “wandering” drive around West Kent & East Sussex yesterday intent on enjoying the beautiful weather whilst avoiding ‘A’ roads & motorways- A fully packed picnic prepared when we left, so off we went.

By mid-afternoon, we parked up at East Court, near East Grinstead, for lunch, starving and thirsty. BUT THEN we discovered that our picnic was still at home 🤷🏼‍♂️🤔! So off we went in to East Grinstead to find somewhere for lunch. Here we are, parked up by The Bench.

Finally got home around 6:00pm, after a brilliant day. Saw quite a few classic cars, but no Morgan’s 🥴.

Went over to Stratford for the day, and stopped off at Caff&Mac for a coffee. This northern bloke was there doing some filming. Started off in the tricked up electric Beetle in the picture, and then went out in a Green Porker (yawn!).

Not sure what show it was, but they went past my Mog a couple of times so she may be making her TV debut!

I am counting my blessings, having just managed a circa 80 mile route up to and around the Trossachs in my old +8 this afternoon. I took my camera along this time hoping to grab a pic of the Mog with in a scenic setting with mountains in the distance, but atmospherics killed any chance of distant clarity. I did manage to grab this pic, the town in the backdrop is Callander which is quite close to the Doune hill climb circuit. The car parks were all pretty full around the Trossachs as the weather was nothing if not balmy, lots of cloud but WARM.. Mostly just bumbling along and the old thing never missed a beat...Wonderful.. (-:
