Went to the Wherry Inn, Bildeston with 2 other Mogs.


The side screens were off and the Morgan badge Mrs JohnV6 sewed onto the sidescreen bag looked perfect.


It was sunny so Ted was looking cool

I am self-isolating after a business trip to Slovenia with a requirement to post a Covid test after 2 days. perfect opportunity to get the Morgan out for a spin down to Leatherhead and take the long way home through Cobham and Esher. Saw several classic sports cars in convoy along the way, Elan, E Type, Stag, Spridget and ....... DB 4 Zagato, YES.

Peter has a Maroon hood and side screens Kevin, but the front spots and badge bar are identical I guess it's a Borghi supplied modification.

A bit of a road trip today. Stroud to Reading, collect son, up to Stratford and lunch at Caffeine and Machine, and return. The Throttle position sensor on the RV8. went lame after Reading, but unplugging it seemed to work, with no MIL or poor running- gotta love late 20th century belt and braces engineering! Water pump squealed a bit, but settled down and only got through a half litre of coolant. Altogether a very pleasant day. Mike Brewer of Wheeler Dealers was milling about and admiring the cars also.

I managed to steal another couple of hours and perhaps 80 miles or so out in the old +8 this afternoon, so headed back up to my favourite roads and a quick tour round the Trossachs.... Just a wonderful day to be bumbling along the tree lined roads with the mix of sun and shade creating a picture at almost every twist and turn.... Were it not for the fly splattered windscreen...

A trip to Scotney Castle in Lamberhurst today followed by lunch at the Peacock Inn near Goudhurst. We've been to Scotney countless times and it's the first time we've caught the rhododendrons in flower - missed the orchids though.
