I agree Ian. There's so much snobbery in the single malt world. Everyone seems to have forgotten that the skill of the blender was highly prized. The blender can make (as in the tea world) a far superior product with skill. I think the marketing guys won the day.

To each their own. My favourite is Glenmorangie with 3 lumps. That's the accent on "mor" not "angie".

Turin. Piazza San Carlo. The Egyptian Museum is more interesting than it sounds. 👍✔️ A perfect time to travel Italy but it is hard for the local tourist industry. Face masks are still obligatory but life is coming back slowly. Plenty of space available at places, restaurants, museums and traffic is low too. It will take years to get back to normal and lots of cafes and hotels may not survive.
