Apologies for a real "newbie" question - but can anyone tell me if it should be possible to run my Roadster with the half tonneau in place and both side screens on?

My tonneau was retro-supplied from MCC via Berrybrook, who gave me to believe that the side screen should fit over the tonneau if required (ie over the flap on the n/s door top), but for the life of me I can't get it to do so - the extra thickness makes the sidescreen stick out at an angle - away from the screen pillar when tightened down.

Bit wimpy, I know - but with cold blustery weather arriving I'd like to keep fresh air motoring, and the heater and half tonneau mean that I can achieve a really toasty effect - apart from my right leg & hip area - which get frozen! Don't really want to travel with 1 sidescreen on and 1 off, as this would look a little wierd I feel

Anyone know the answer to this one?

It used to work on my 94 4/4

I normally fit the sidescreens in winter and then tuck the tails of the tonneau above the doors down into the cockpit. This seems to work well.

And if you remember to turn the bottom edge up on itself at an angle down from front to back the run off rain water will be deflected away from the cockpit - well some of it anyway.

Works for me too. Just tuck the side flaps inside the doors rather than fixing to the doors, when side screens are in place.

Thanks guys - just tried that - it works! Ready for the big chill now - at least, until they start chucking salt around - then I'm out of here
