Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked 100 times, but I would like to put my 1997 Plus 8 up on stands and grease every point that requires it.
Could someone point me in the right direction to read a comprehensive set of instructions please?
Many thanks
Phil

Thanks. I am aware of this excellent web based manual. I can only find greasing info for the Plus 4. 1960 on. Is it the same for a Plus 8?

The variations are on the stub axles, where there may be just one each side, or if work has been done, also one at the top. That's assuming there is no oiler fitted!
The propshaft might have two or three, one on each UJ, and one on the sliding yoke at the front, if it has this arrangement.
If you have steering damper blades, then where they locate on the chassis needs adjusting and greasing. No nipples there though.

My previous car, a 1990 build, had grease nipples on each track rod end. Don't forget a blob of (rubber) grease under each rear wheel brake cylinder rubber boot Also grease bonnet catch mechanisms, wheel bearings.
Sorry, other than my own personal list I don't know of other references.

The answer is pretty much yes, then go to the relevant sections i.e. front suspension, there you will find particular greasing instructions. The Gearbox/Clutch and Axle section has greasing instructions long with the Rear Suspension section, etc.
