The last days I bought a German classic car magazine and see this:

https://roadster-zubehoer.de/radwechsel/

In cause I read some questions about to do and undo the wheels I think it could be an idea.

Rather expensive compared to Lionels tool? 145 Euros, compared to around £50.

Agreed. Lionel's 2 eared spinner tool is very well made and makes removing the spinners an easy and stress free experience.

I would add the tool I have is for the standard wheel nut not the spinner.

Agree, so much easier with Lionel's spinner tool thumbs

Hi Craig
I've just ordered one of Lionel's tools. I see you are using a pretty lengthy tool bar. Are you putting serious pressure on it or just using it to make the job easy?

That I can understand. It looks good, I think I shall probably get one myself.

I'm struggling with the concept of the spinner version. If you're going to use a socket, what's the point of having ear-spinners in the first place?

Yes you don’t need it that long at all. It was the only one in stock in my local screw fix at the time. So hardly no pressure at all with mine.

Chris my car has painted wires & often needs heat + a scaffolding pole over the breaker bar to get the centre undone. (Note have tried cleaning the paint off, but they are still very tight despite only put on with only about 35 lb torque.)
