97kg is the bare (i.e. no subframes etc.) chassis weight Richard. One can occasionally see four guys carry one into chassis assembly, or pick one up to turn it over.

There are a number of the Roadster Racers on the market right now at very reasonable prices if it's racing you are interested in, or a fast road car.

Here's the real thing at Donington last night just before the downpour spoilt things What did they sound like Jon, had they played around with the exhaust at all. To be honest the gorgeous Mrs M took most of the photos as I was exploring quite how good my (finally) properly sorted 3.7 goes, and mine's quite loud on full chat I waved one past at one point & tried the trick of following his lines, suffice to say they are blink'n quick, & after keeping up for 6 or 7 laps the fear of binning mine on overheating road tyres made me back off If anyone's interested a 3.7 at full chat still does 13mpg over 50 add miles
