A quick blast to road test the new exhaust bobbins just fitted. Anyone else planning to change these, its worth making sure you have a 54mm exhaust clamp in stock. The clamp in front of the silencer retreated badly wounded when shown a spanner.

Just under 300 miles in the Plus 4 to Gaydon yesterday. The longest trip for quite a while.

Nice little blast out to share a pint this evening with another Morgan pal out at Tuckenhay, perfect little 40 miler great company and the V8 burble life is good. He couldn't wait to introduce me to his new to him V8 Mustang, bloody handsome it is and sounds wonderful.. he's a bugger he knows I love them so I expect it will start me off searching again

Glorious day, so went out for a run in the New Forest. I filled up with fuel from a BP petrol station on the A36... Unleaded £1.39/L, Super unleaded £1.52/L.
It is getting expensive...

Passed my local Shell on Monday to find it shut for some work going on, lately £1.33 / ltr. Esso along the road where I now fill up used to be a penny or two cheaper - nope, now a penny more expensive than Shell. Profiteering? Can't remember the diesel price, but that was my transport as needed to add fuel before service/MoT yesterday.

The Great Escape Gang met up in Wickham Market and did a fast run to Orford & the back to the White Lion in Lower Ufford for luncheon. White LionThe pub dog Lulu seemed to like Madmax & Hawki. Wednesday pub lunch for five at the White Lion, Ufford after agricultural short cut from Orford courtesy of John V6. Met Lulu again, last seen as an over friendly pup two years ago.
