I am seriously thinking of changing my current +4 for a Plus Four. Whilst the intention is obviously to keep it for ever, I need to keep an eye open for what it may be worth if I did have to sell it.
With view to that, are there any options that are an absolute must have for resale & any colours that I should really avoid?
My current preference would be almost the same colour scheme as existing : Baby blue, black leather, 4 black wire wheels, black pack for widescreens grille etc.
Aircon & heated seats are a must, am thinking body colour dash & central column. Can't decide re manual v auto, bad knees & London traffic say auto, pleasure of driving says manual.
Would the above restrict the resale opportunities drastically ? or should I be thinking green paint, stainless wires, walnut dash & tan leather?
Am open to suggestions!

Whilst the latter combo is a favourite the baby blue and black is an established one as well, saving money on veneered dash and stainless wires. Further savings could be made by adding the black pack equivalent yourself using local powder coaters for grill and headlamp rims etc. It's what I did on a new build with advantage of improved finish over that offered by factory.

Having driven all three (as in PlusSix and both gearbox variants of the Plus Four) I also prefer the auto (and I'm not an auto fan - but these are good). They are easy to play hooligan with, should you wish (hope none of our marketing dept is reading this!! )

Graham, it was the hooligan element especilly in sport + mode that drove my comment. The auto is always on song the manual gears seem to try to keep you at the wrong revs for the turbo.

The manual gearbox interface with the ECU must be out of synch! Why would there be an "interface"? I can understand comments like Graham above. When I had an F type with the same ZF box I was initially very pleased with it. But that rapidly turns to boredom because you find yourself always using it in full auto. There is no real fun in the flappy paddles because there are too many gears to chose from, they are too close together, and much of the time you dont even know you have changed gear. So you end up driving it like the family saloon if you arent careful. It was for this reason that I changed back to a manual sports car - the family cars are all full autos.

All, I can say it is the two cars drive very differently. The auto seemed to me the best but the price ,lack of storage & seats made me realise Belle with a manual box is better for me.

The Interface Howard is biological. It was an attempt at humour.........

That is how I describe Sport+ when conducting tours John (Ask NickCW who was on one on Friday - good to meet you Nick) The Interface Howard is biological. It was an attempt at humour......... I got it Dave
