I have put this here as others like myself may have often wondered what these installations looked like in detail.
The fat indicator repeaters and crap bumpers would have to go but quite the bargain hey with original tyres too

Absolutely and I take my hat off to the late Bill Fink without whom the Plus 8 would not have made it across the Atlantic, he worked very closely with Maurice Owen at the time to make it possible.

Back in the early 70's my BiL was working for Lipton Fork Lift Trucks and remembers meeting Bill Fink who was looking at the LPG setup they were using on the truck engines at the time.

I'm pretty sure that later he also used to put larger (? 6ltr) LS V8s in them too.

Yes they come up for sale once in a while over there, it's a wonderful looking installation.

Very neat, looks like it fits better than the Rover lump and I bet it steers well on the throttle too!

Yes I'll bet it is a handful, but that sound is very addictive..
