On the subject of heaters, my heater works very well when using the fan but it smells of fumes or exhaust gas, is this possible or has anyone else experianced this.

It has got the Quick rack But that isn't quick enough in my opinion
Personally, I found the +4SS rack ideal for fast road and track use; however, I'm not Steven

Didn't he say, "you are infamous on the internet"? Whatever the case, you certainly had a lot of fun that day and were a pleasure to watch.

Dear "SFO",
mind that "Chocolate" in it´s original form is a (highest quality..) furniture-leather (type "Montana") from Yarwood - and therefor quite sensitive...
I have my bespoke +4 equipped with it. Superbe quality, very soft ´n´thick to the touch, but: sensitive..
If you need "advise" and/or pictures...
Jochen

Hi Steven and all other "petrolheads" around here.. The steering SHOULD be quick(er), as it is (supposed to be) the Aero Racing 3-turn steering rack (in oppostion to the 3,3 fitted to usual trads) - so interesting to read, it feels "slower".. BUT: the steering manufacturer DOES still exist and is ready to provide you (Steven) and may be me with up/down to 2,4 gears... I (pre)ordered my 3.7 with the 3,0 "fast rack"....up to now! But my near future testride of both cars will hopefully clear that!

Steven (1560) is simply stating a preference for an even quicker rack (which used to be available from an aftermarket supplier; however, there is a question as to whether they are still in business). I'm not used to lazy steering and I find the Plus 4SS to be quick enough - anything more and I can imagine it being far too skittish for road use.
