Is it normal, my accelerator peddle is a good 3 inch below the other two, I'm getting used to it now but it does take a lot of effort to and from the brake when in heavy traffic, especially with hill starts. My missus fancies a go but finds it to difficult- size 3s and legs not much longer than a badger (I know her not driving may be a god send, but could be useful if I fancy an extra pint) it's a 2015 4/4 sigma 1.6 with a roller peddle, is there a way of adjusting or do I leave and live with it. My 2010 4/4 has the pedal behind the brake pedal - not measured it - but a good couple of inches.

How long have you had the car? I found it a bit odd at first but just a couple of drives and a bit of trial and error seat adjustment and I don’t notice it now. Always wear fairly light, slim shoes.

Hi guys, had the car 4 month and covered just over 2k mls, all relatively short journeys ( non motorway) so plenty of peddle work, I'm well used to it now and love driving it but think the driving would be improved with a shorter reach. I also have a couple of pairs of selected shoes, (non- whelted ) cheers Alan

I had the same trouble so I fitted one of Wolfs accelerator pedals, it brings it slightly more forward than the existing roller pedal.

My 1985 4/4 is fitted with a Cosmic make floor mounted cast aluminium organ type accelerator pedal.
In my car this raises the throttle pedal to 1.5" behind the brake pedal.
A similar conversion pedal is shown in Rutter's catalogue.
There is a "Cosmic pedal" the same as mine advertised on eBay at the present time (no connection).

Can you fit the Organ type pedal to the 4/4 Sigma, it didn’t think they were suitable ???

My 2012 4/4 Sport (Sigma) came with one, however I bought it used so I don’t know if it was fitted by MMC or previous owner? I removed it as I like the extra foot room the roller gives.
