There is a report of a Marshal being killed at Brands Hatch today by a car going over the barrier.
We must not forget these are volunteers and without their time and expertise there would be no Motor Racing at all.
Condolences to the Marshal’s family.

Yes I read of this earlier on the VSCC site. A really sad freak accident, thoughts and prayers for the relatives and friends.

A sober reminder that motor racing is dangerous, as it says on the tickets!
Marshalls give up enough to make it possible for us to race and watch racing. They shouldn't have to give up their life: at least he (?) died doing what he loved. RIP.
