A pause is all that is required really. Just not to rush it. I think it improves a fraction once warm. I haven't changed the gearbox oil yet. Changed the diff' oil, which came out very clean.

Nick

I think it is all standard. Just the bench type cushions with a bit of fluting to give shape. Lap belts only in rear of course.

I think it may have had front head restraints (1996) but they didn't come with the car, just the plastic blanks.

There is also a cup on the spring of the lever held on by a tab. The tabs break off. As they do the change gets difficult. Gomog has aot on the gearbox

Thanks John. I'll keep an eye on it but think it is ok and will probably be slightly improved with a change of gearbox oil, when I get a chance. If I have problems in future I will certainly consider the lever/linkage as the possible cause. I am familiar with the relevant Gomog pages.

Thanks and best wishes
