Jack Knight used to make it, but that firm closed down,
2,4 I think

Quaife should be able to make a 2,4

edit: watch out: 2.4 might be damn-heavy when you got wires!!!!
but hey, who want wire-wheels?????
on a traditional TRAD: ok, not on a sporty one cowboy

So, Numog, you have succumbed to the call of a 3.7!!!!!! I expected you were after a bit more power!! What is the spec you have ordered?? When do you expect delivery?

Bet the time is passing slowly -- I'm most envious but over here in Ireland a 3.7L would attract approx €2,300 PER YEAR in tax so is not a car I could afford to keep!

Cheers!

Well, dear Robbie -

still awaiting my testdrive at the factory - hopefully in (late) November to finally decide whether to keep my much loved grey baby, or to switch to the new "Pony" or a +4 SS..

HARD decisions to make.. cheers

It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. laugh2

Just passed 3,500 miles on mine. That includes 3 races and a return trip to South of France from the South East of England. The only issues so far have been very minor. Tiny oil leak from oil cooler, fixed by tightening. Indicator relay stopped working, fixed by replacing with a generic 3 pin relay.

It generates a lot of interest, I've had people hanging out of car windows to take photos ( at motorway speeds!) and a big thumbs up from a Parisian Gendarme. You can also expect a lot of questions every where you stop.

Given the limited run will there be any left by late November?
Also don't forget they are only making them in RHD.
Do I understand correctly that the Plus 4 SS has uprated suspension for the track? That may translate to a much harder ride on normal roads.

So fitting AVOs or the Morgan adjustables would improve the ride of a bespoke Plus 4?

Just gone to my super sport and the screen is cracked, top right hand corner comeing down at 45 degrees, is this the first one this has happened to, i thought it was maybe just + 4 sports that suffered this problem, I assume its a warranty issue as it happened without any impact.

Aero racing sell Gaz adjustable shocks as fitted to the Lightweight and Plus4 SS. 5 clicks of adjustment makes a noticeable difference, there are 40 clicks in total (on mine anyway). I normally use about 5 clicks on the road and 10-15 on the track.
