1.75m garage width cannot be right surely - you'd never be able to open any doors you could only have a soft top as you'd have to climb out. My garage door opening is 2.53m and then opens internally about another 320mm on each side.

The advert says "....the auction is being re-run due to the previous winning bidder not having checked the width of his garage, the Plus 8 would not fit. It is approximately 175cm wide, please check before bidding!" so at the risk of being a pedant that's the car width rather than the garage. Mind you although my Morgan Roadster fits OK, I had a similar problem with my garage some years back when I bought an Audit TT Roadster. The pillars/plinths intrude into the garage space, and with its long doors there was no way I could get out of the car once I'd driven it in. My garage door opening is 2.53m and then opens internally about another 320mm on each side. Yes, it sounds a tall one to me - still think it's an insurance cover problem ! The entrance to mine is 2.10Mtrs with additional 25Cms each side internally. My fat boy Plus 8 goes in with around 24Cms to spare each side at the entrance.

From what I can see it’s the same 2 highest bidders bidding on it now than who won it last time. Strange to re-bid on a car that doesn’t fit in your garage….

Yes I agree, everything about the marketing of this car just stinks from the original advert back in January through the not fitting in the garage story.....

Sorry, clearly missed that and I was only relaying what our 100% trustworthy Guide told us about the car! Must remember that there are no such thing as secrets in the Morgan world.
