Just heard from a friend who was trying to book a factory tour that the 3 Wheeler shop is now closed as production had ended.
It is not expected to be open for the rest of this year.

The three wheeler shop was closed months ago. It is now the PDI bay, for the present. The last of the M3W are being built in the Chassis Shop, at the end of the Trim Shop and bodies still being completed in Sheet metal Shop. If he wants to see the last of the current 3W in production he'd better get onto a tour fairly quickly.

Sad these cars are passing out of production without a little song and dance. I hope we at least get a photoshoot of the last car made with the workers who built them over the last 10 years.

Referring to the AutoCar picture on page 1- is that a cast aluminium piece that the front suspension of the 3/3 is based on? That would be a real plus.

IIt also looks like an aluminium monocoque chassis and water cooling radiator.

Could this be what is hiding under the bonnet of the 3 Wheeler in the AutoCar picture maybe? Something that will still appeal to the air cooled V-Twin enthusiast yet is a multi cylinder power unit.
