My take is that certain Yank Tanks look good with thin white walls but apart from things like the Austin Atlantic I can't think of a single English car that looks good wearing them however, if some kind soul were to donate a full set of 18"x5.50's I would give them a go !!!

OK, OK, so this is where I feel obliged to put my hand up and admit that in my yoof I painted my XJ6 bright red, glued on a black vinyl roof, and installed a set of white wall`s on the tyres... Well at least I thought it looked the business.... back then.. My tastes seem to have altered with the passage of time..

Has BHM started their monthly meets again yet ?
Yes. They've had a couple and there's one on 4 September. Last one of the year, although they have a Festive Fayre scheduled for 20 November and their Xmas party on 11 December.
